Thank you!

January 25th, 2012
OAARS would like to say “Thank You” to the Marine Thrift Shop as we received a generous fourth quarter check today. We also know we could not have done that without our volunteers who donated their volunteer hours to OAARS so we can have the funds to request. Thank you will never be enough for your time and dedication! Whoof Whoof Meow Meow from all of OAARS animals!

Looking for you…

Our dog foster coordinator/ dog adoption coordinator will be leaving us and her last day with us is March 1st. If you are interested or know someone that might be interested, please email Nicole at oaarsfoster@gmail.com. We would like to have the new coordinator take over completely on March 1st, so that means we need to find someone quickly so that we have the two adoption events in February to train. Please help spread the word. Volunteering with animals is very rewarding and any volunteer work looks good on a job application as well. So if you’d like to get more involved in helping those without a voice, again, please contact Nicole at oaarsfoster@gmail.com

Don’t forget about the older animals as well as they are already ahead of the puppies and kittens with potty training.  Hope to see you there!

They’re ready…

January 17th, 2012

Our four Christmas pups are ready for adoption this weekend; Cinnamon (Male) Hope (Female), Ginger (Female) and Noel (Female). They have had their first set of shots, microchipped and have been dewormed. They will need their second set on February 1st. For more information please look under OAARS dogs. Please note that puppies are a life time commitment and are exactly like newborn kids. They need patience, guidance and will reward you with a lifetime of snuggles, loyalty and unconditional love.
